Looking for AT tires, with good dry/wet performance (not worried as much about mud/snow). I don't plan on lifting it any time soon, so either stock size or slightly bigger if it will fit. Everything I read online suggests that Load C would be better than Load E for ride quality and occasional off roading but I can't find many Load C options. Any suggestions?

I ran the Michelin LTX AT/2’s for the past few years and they were great. However Michelin stopped making the Load C’s. I might try the load E’s next.

I put Pathfinder HT tires on mine from Discount Tire on my 5th gen. They are great for on road and light off roading. Not sure if this would apply but something to look at.

Load E has very stiff sidewalls and is better suited for a full size truck like the Tundra we just sold. You will notice performance and mileage take a hit with E. Load C tires are lighter and what we have gone with on our 25 Tacoma and 25 4Runner. They ride nice and aren't too stiff. (Falken Wildpeak AT4s 275/70/17) Note: removing the front spoiler, lifting, and getting larger tires your gas mileage will take a hit.

so odd that there are no options for this wheel size hopefully, since Toyta went with 18's companies will start to release some.

Yeah, I like the look of 18" wheels so don't really want to go down to 17" just to get Load C. I'm considering the Wrangler Duratrac RT. It's 2ply under the tread but 3ply sidewalls with kevlar for added puncture resistance. Anyone try these?

58 pounds isn’t light.

18" or 17"

This is my choice .....285/70R17 Toyo Open Country R/T Trail C-ply
(Not #1 in Wet however can manage)

However the Toyo Open Country AT 3 are a great choice and lower weights too. Checks all your boxes....

Falken Wildpeak AT4s 275/70/17 C, performance does not suffer on the highway or the secondary roads. No lift and zero rub.
