Volume / radio station banner keeps appearing!?

So when I’m connected to CarPlay and have it on the display, but playing FM radio, the banner keeps dropping down at the top to display radio station. It’s random but like 10x per minute. Super annoying. I reset CarPlay but nothing. Anyone else have this issue?

I have seen that in the last couple days ironically enough. I'm not a big fan how the truck handles the CarPlay. Many times won't connect. If I do a remote start, there is zero CarPlay. I found I need to go into the settings on the truck, to the phone, then press the CarPlay toggle and after about 10 seconds it will then turn on. It is not smooth and very janky. In fact, when I press "Apple Music" for the selection on the truck interface, I ALWAYS get a QR code and it asks me to subscribe. Very annoying. My Ford Sync system far surpassed the Toyota system.

CarPlay on my new 4-Runner has been SUPER annoying! I worked so much better on my 22 using an after market CarPlay connect. The Digital Key with the Toyota Connect has been “worthless”. Again it use to work great on my 22. Yesterday i got a “white” screen... then it said “updating”….

hmm, I haven't had a single issue with CarPlay and it automatically connects the moment I start my car.

I don't have an iPhone. I have a Samsung and connect with android auto. I have not had any problems connecting or staying connected.

Maybe I’l try removing the vehicle from my app… then removing the app.. start back from scratch again. UGH

I turned off CarPlay. It kept doing screwy things. I really have no need for It.
