My Trailhunter is on QC Hold (8 to 22 days) at the Port in Jacksonville.Pro and Trailhunter models are not currently on QC hold.
Interesting. Seems to be only affecting trucks going Mid-Atlantic and New England areas, but not all trucks going to those regions. My Trailhunter is on QC Hold (8 to 22 days) at the Port in Jacksonville.
Dito on Trailhunter. I was told by dealer possible 30 day delay. This is odd, what I know is ALL the 4Runners are on QC Hold. I'm waiting on my Trailhunter which doesn't have an air dam in Front... (Hmmm)
Definitely not just hybrids, its on all 4runners that were not basically on a truck on their way to the dealer. My order is for a trd offroad premium non hybrid. Been told it could be 30 days before they even start doing what ever inspections they need to do but no clarity on what it is.I was told mine is currently on the vessel still but it's on a quality hold (30 days like everyone says). I asked what that is all about/if there were any issues, and was told that nothing is wrong-- that 'certain hybrids get picked by random.' He said there are some recalls on the Tundras and some Tacomas but not the 4Runners. So it seems like standard QC protocol. Not sure if it has anything to do with the delay of tariffs either, but hoping that's just it.
Same difference, haha. I’ve seen them cut way shorter than 30 days also (“up to”/max), so it’s just an estimate. Let’s just hope it’s minor, such as the loose air dam, or like the manager told me… random QC screening, or nothing at all.The QC Hold is not for 30 days it is "minimum" of 30 days but could be longer. Hopefully it is resolved quickly but understand there are no guarantees. Toyota has told us nothing about why this is happening. Safe to assume there is an issue they are trying to get fixed so they can resume deliveries
How many miles in did you start getting the break noise? My front air dam seems pretty secure still after almost 4000 miles, but I wonder if it’s for the front brakes. The noise is way worse than just some squeaking.
Thats crazy, really considering cancel my order. Between the qc hold with no answer and everything im reading, wondering how much more of a headache Will this be once all the other little things start popping on that we don't know about. The next day! So, like 30 miles. I guess I never noticed on the test drive or going home because I didn’t reverse until I backed out of my garage the next day.
It’s really terrible braking while reversing, but sometimes does it braking forward. Usually, it is the most loud in the morning. I definitely wake the whole street up every morning.
I’ve contacted the dealership and corporate, but nothing yet. I just hope something isn’t misaligned causing premature wear on the rotor.
I hope these holds mean they found a solution or have a new part to fix the issue.
