Hello, Rangers! 👋😄 With 2024 closed out, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the past year and introduce myself to those I haven’t had the chance to connect with yet.

My name is Amber, and I’m your RealTruck sales representative here on the forum. Over the past year, my role on the forum has evolved beyond answering product inquiries. I’ve been fortunate to assist with group buys, as well as engage in discussions and shared projects from other members. It goes without saying, it’s been a rewarding experience. 💪 My goal is to make sure your questions are answered, your projects are supported, and your experiences with us are nothing short of excellent.

Hi Amber,
Does Amp have steps that when in diving mode fold up to look much like a standard nerf bar, then unfold down when the doors open?
Right now I have a step stool for 90yr old seniors and any amp step would be great,
I just don’t want to give up my door ding protection of the oem steps.
im thinking amp may gain customers as anyone that off roads hard is going to pulverize any amp step and have sliders anyway.
Most people that use them would be the street queen rides

Yes, that would be the AMP Research PowerStep™ XL. These include a rock rail housing that sits tight to the cab. Unfortunately, it's not available for the Ranger since it drops so low- approximately 13"-15" from the pinch weld. The steps are fairly sturdy, constructed from die-cast aluminum. Maybe not the best choice for serious off-road adventures, but it will add some protection to your rocker panel, none the less.

A similar option that will fit the Ranger is the Go Rhino E1 Electric Running Boards. They don't have a rock rail, but they retract and extend electronically. PM me if you want more details and we can take a look at what will work best for your setup.

Amber,
I recently placed an order for a new Ranger, but when I took my wife to the dealership to show her what’s ordered she couldn’t get in the truck. I’m thinking E-boards are my best option. When I follow the Go Rhino link in your previous post, it takes me to the Real Truck Voltstep. Is this the same product re-named or is the link bad?

Also, can you confirm that these offer an over-ride switch so I can turn them off when she’s not with me?

Congrats on the new Ranger! Yes, the Go Rhino E1 Running boards are now the RealTruck VoltStep Electric Running Boards. These are the same great product, just with a new name and badge, and they do include an interior bypass switch.

PM me for a pricing quote, shipping times, and to make sure that you're getting a perfect fit! I'll also make sure your order is prioritized before orders placed on the website!
