I love my RR. I’ve had it for about a year and a half. It’s been in the shop at least 5 separate times once for about a month… I’ve had A/C issues. Now the drive modes are switching randomly while driving. (I was on the frw at 75 and I look down and the truck was trying to switch into rich crawl mode). It seems like it’s eating a ton of oil…

I’m kind of getting fed up with taking it to the dealership. It’s a pain to not be with a truck that I’m paying for. I’m seriously considering to talking to someone about what a lemon process would be like. Now I’m second guessing if I should have gone with the Tacoma TRD Pro.
Any thought?

Mine has also switched drive modes out of nowhere. I'm going to bring it into the dealership for them to take a look at it. Annoying however I still love the RR and small issues like this doesn't really bother me.

When I told the dealership about it. They said there is nothing they can do unless it happens right there with them. Ford will not give them any help on it unless they witness it. I hope a ford account sees this and gives us a clue on how to address this.

Oh man I will let you know what happens with mine once I bring it in. The dealership did tell me I'm the first one with that issue.

Picking mine up today. Nothing fixed. Sun visor mounted garage door opener buttons just stopped working. Driver door electronic lock does not lock and hill start assist failure warning. Dealer had truck for a couple weeks (parked out in back lot) but can't fix any of these issues. Yes, frustrated!

My guess is the dial/switch is defective.
Maybe hitting a bump or a vibration is initiating a mode change.
Or could be a bad connection with the switch, but I would not think a loss of connection would ever default the truck into crawl mode. So I would lean more towards a defective switch/dial.
