The TrailRax lockable and Modular Starlink Mini Cradle Mount offers versatility, durability, and USA-made quality for overlanding, commercial fleets, emergency response, and daily travel.

Made from lightweight yet rugged 5052 aluminum, this mount is assembled in-house and ships ready to install. Its lockable design keeps your Starlink Mini secure, while the integrated quick-release allows easy removal, deployment, and repositioning for optimal reception at camp or job sites.

The mount integrates seamlessly with TrailRax Modular Roof Racks, fitting cleanly between crossmembers for a low-profile setup, as well as on top of roof tops tents with M8 track systems, or on our Mounting Decks.

For a more discreet option, you can configure it for Ghost Mounting, which places the Starlink Mini inside select plastic cases like Pelican or Roam Adventure Co. boxes. Starlink Mini has been tested to function through specific plastic housings, providing protection while maintaining connectivity.
Note: Proper ventilation is required to prevent overheating, especially with Ghost Mount configurations.

Looks like a nice solution for on-the-pause use. Watching the video, you have to remove it from the mount for use, and does NOT support comms on-the-move operation for the V4 Mini terminal.

Just to add a bit more context: all Starlink Minis do require an external power source since they don’t have internal batteries. So for anyone looking to run their setup while driving, it really comes down to how you choose to power it.
Common options include:
  • Wiring into your vehicle’s 12V system (similar to a light bar or other accessories)
  • Using a portable power station or solar setup
  • Running a DC power adapter
  • Using an inverter connected to your vehicle’s battery
With the right power setup, you can definitely use it for comms or passenger use while you are on the move👍

This is pretty slick! I’ll definitely be getting one of these. I’ll probably mount a box with a small portable battery inside on the roof that can power the starlink 🤘🤘
