So what is going on with the cold starts? Obviously when you first start the truck up it sounds really good even with the stock exhaust but after 30 or 40 seconds or so the sound cuts in half. Any idea what that is?

I'm 190 lb and you can jump up and down on them. They are solid. I have two rails with a fiberglass clamshell type roof tent that I haul on it. They handled a tent very easily.

It definitely has a proximity sensor. Leave the vehicle running and get out of it with the key in your pocket. When you get about 5 ft away it beeps twice at you to remind you that you've taken the key with you and the vehicle is still running.
