Use a soap that can dry on the paind and when re-wetted will rinse and use a spray drying aid. I wash my truck here in FL all the time in the sun. Keep it wet. If you do get water spots, get a water spot remover if needed.
That's true but these engines run much hotter than engines of old. Seeing oil and water temperatures over 200 as normal these days is a major change. Oil needs to have a higher thermal capacity these days.
Nope, it's way better than my BMW was. I don't back in though. But I can get my door opening about 50ish feet away. My BMW had to be in the driveway to open the door.

Exactly why I moved the trailer harness. Sure they are tucked up which will help but objects can snag the wiring and the housings. Say you have to go through a water crossing, you have no idea what’s gonna be in there.
