Since that last update I get two weird chimes(?) (honks? bells?) when I start up after it's been parked for a while. It sounds like some sort of emergency notification so it makes me jump, but nothing comes up on the screen or dash. Kind of annoying.

24 Lariat. I love this truck.

Ride is slightly harsher and noise is slightly more. Neither is that bad at all. It's still quieter than my wife's 2025 Forester.

The times it did work, before it seemingly stopped working, it scared the crap out of me.

I spoke with a service tech. He said his Ford vehicle does the same thing, and that the way it brakes when it thinks it's too close to something is very "finicky" and will sometimes brake harder than you expect giving the feeling you hit something.

That's interesting, and a possibility. I was getting close to another vehicle as I backed up. Maybe it hit the brakes for me? I've never had it happen like that before though.
