Yeah, though it might just be the excuse you need to buy a Lariat top storage box and install it in your XLT so you can keep your documents in a separate place.
All very good points John. I do carry quickly accessible bear spray on me and that would be my primary go to when encountering a large predator like a bear or moose, especially since It's usually more effective and I don’t want to kill an animal unless I absolutely have to protect myself or...
Well, I’m going in first thing tomorrow morning to have it installed, so I should be able to post my initial impressions sometime tomorrow afternoon. I should also be able to compare how much of a difference the tune mades out of the gate on the 2.7L vs. the 2.3L.
Funny story, apparently the ProCal 4 tuner that comes with the calibration had somehow already been VIN locked to another vehicle. My best guess is that someone previously bought it from the dealership, installed the tune, and then returned it "unused". Because of that, I’ll have to go back in...
They certainly do work pretty well for that. I previously had a center console vault in my Ranger Raptor, and based on my experience with it, it’s definitely better for outright security, but not as ideal if you want quick access to your firearm in an emergency.

I live in Colorado, and my work as a photographer sometimes takes me to some of the more remote parts of the state, such as deep wilderness areas, ghost towns on the plains, and other sparsely populated regions. Because of that, I like to keep a pistol in my truck during those trips for...
I only recently had them installed, so I haven’t had a chance to take them off road yet. That said, the difference in on road ride quality is definitely noticeable, especially after adjusting the DSC to your preference.
I didn’t keep the stock height since I also installed larger tires, I added...
That's good to know. Though I do remember that when I did the tune on my 2019 Ranger, it took about 500 to 1,000 miles before I felt like it had sort of "figured everything out" and gave me the performance I was expecting, which makes sense since it's an adaptive tune that has to relearn a bunch...
Thank you, I very much appreciate it.
I also agree with you about the Ranger Raptor being a halo performance truck that most people wouldn't necessarily be in the market for, but could be in the market for something one step below that.
Having driven both, I think the gap between a stock...
