RR and Lariat use a lot of the same parts like mirrors. the 24-25 xlts had power fold, and the xlt 301a high package gave you mirror turns, puddle, heated glass. now the 26 301a only give you heat. they lost puddle, power fold and all models RR to base XL lost turn signals.

They legally can't sell a vehicle with an active recall. Even if say the recall was for the paint on the bolt that is on the grill support holding down plastic trim. but thats gets priority repair over me who already has the vehcile. This type of delay is normal.

Add 159 canadian rangers assembled at the Michigan plant aswell. plus the broncos and explorers

My February 2025 build 25 2.3 xlt thus far has been vin checked on fords website and is not in this recall, but 159 Canadian(Michigan plant assembled) rangers are.

So xlt's lost puddle aswell. Have a look at my thread adding heated mirrors to my 25 xlt. and see if your truck is prewired, if it is, you can get a set of 24-25 lariat or 301A with tech pack mirrors, and they'll plug right in. then forscan to enable the turns and puddle lights, and 4 zone zone...

do you have a 300A xlt with technology package, or a 301A High with tech pack?

You're gunna get trailer errors with anything on the trailer plug, unless you follow the ford pro body builder layout book(aka upfitter guide) and tap the 3rd brake light at the bcm and run a wire back. but then you lose turn signal functionality.

was just in ford America build and price. apparently Laritat still get power fold. but they removed turn signals from all base to RR, unsure if puddle lights got taken out aswell on the xlt high 301A package.

Ford Canada build and price anyways shows 300a non heated, and 301a gets heated, manual fold, mirrors. so wants a set of 24-25 xlt 301a, or lariat mirrors if you got the tech package with 360 cams. so 26 xlts lost power fold, turns signals, and not sure about the puddle lights, but a xlt 301A...

Need the XLT 301A package, not the base XLT 300A package for factory heated mirrors and puddle lights(and 24-25 turn signals which they removed from all 26's)

Sorry for the delay, forgot about this thread. You likeing my earlier comment, reminded me about this. and I just so happen to be sitting my truck. so I took a pic, I have 5 wires in my switch plug. see if you have the 5 wires in same pin locations, if you do, should be a direct swap. unsure...

Only factory tint atm. might throw some on the front later. but once I added the cap, with factory tinted side windows and rear window significantly darkened the interior. but a sun strip and lightly tinted fronts are on the list
