Until someone takes identical engines and has a scientifically controlled test, I don't believe you'll get xx miles more out of an engine with an early oil...
You gotta weight the cost of it vs windshield replacement cost vs increased insurance premium to have $0 deductible on your windshield.
It is basically an insurance product, but kinda expensive for your "coverage" and it wears out? (goes to $0 value)
