Builtright is also made in the US. You sort of infer that it isn't.
The full passenger and driver bedside setup is $590 total. I have it. I paid that. All the pieces. ADD appears to be just over $900 for the same setup.
Their instructions are pretty good, but you have to go to the product page to find them.
The one nearest the cab was a hot hassle to install. The bolt all the way forward was not the best, and I have large hands.
They're for clearance, and work a treat. I just put their bed rack on today, and the shims allow the rack to sit just above the cap without crushing anything. They'd have to do variable widths or billet pieces to be more precise, maybe. Did you measure the individual shims while you had it all...
How is that even possible? You'd have to screw up pretty epic to hit the trailer plug on the tailgate.
Does the replacement not include the stock bracket? Can you just install the AAL one? Not sure exactly what you're after. The stock bracket has to be cut off so it wouldn't be useful for re-use.
