What’s the difference between the Rival FX4 transmission skid plate and the XLT plate? I have an XLT FX4 and want to armor up.
previous customer. Had all Rival plates on my Subaru Outback Wilderness.
Saw a YouTuber use a 1.5# wrist weight on the steering wheel and accomplished the same thing with lane assist and adaptive cruise control. Drove hours on the interstate and never touched the wheel.
Looks great! Going to do this. I think it looks right as it matches the door and center armrest trips with stitching and material. Is the trim piece above the cluster console replaceable? I would rather replace that trim above the cluster, front of steering wheel with a Lariat trim piece then...
I followed your lead.
Picked up some Bronco bead lock capable wheels from Marketplace. 17x8.5 35 offset.
Stock tires until I get a lift and then 33’s.
Gives me about 1.5” “poke”.
I’ve been emailing too. First deliveries will be side glass and no options or accessories. I’m after the hard side doors and the bins they showcased at SEMA.
Starting price right around $4000 for the March deliveries is too rich for me, as much as I love it
I'm anxious to see how it goes. If you have time during the install, please do progress pics for the rest of us. If it's solid, I'm for sure ordering a set. Even at $400 it's a fraction of OEM cost (unless ordered at time of build).
you have pics with all four? Have you been running this setup with the 285's? Would love to hear/see long-term reviews. I've been eyeing some Bronco takeoffs on Marketplace. Most have tires but if they fit with stock suspension, I'd go for those.
what are the different ones you ordered 'with the clips'? I don't see a different one.
This is one thing I wished I had known about before buying. Silly the steps aren't standard.
