RR has a plastic pan as well.

I installed mine a couple of weeks ago and yeah it's tight, but like you said "tight in a good way". I would not change it.

Can't speak on the Ranger but the RR has a metal skid under the oil pan which I would not leave off. I have after market skid plates on the truck now and they incorporate a single bolt "door" that makes changing the oil a breeze with the Ronin drain plug.

My chase lights are on Aux 3. A Pillars on 1-2 and 5. The long run is not worth it IMO.

Just make sure the wire gauge will support the load. Also, the wire run will effect load tolerance. I don't think 1.5mm would support 25 amps.

Does it completely solve the 5-6 jerky shift in sport mode? For me it feels like I am towing a trailer and the truck jerks back and forth. RPM's don't stay up to match the shift.
