Can't speak on the Ranger but the RR has a metal skid under the oil pan which I would not leave off. I have after market skid plates on the truck now and they incorporate a single bolt "door" that makes changing the oil a breeze with the Ronin drain plug.

Does it completely solve the 5-6 jerky shift in sport mode? For me it feels like I am towing a trailer and the truck jerks back and forth. RPM's don't stay up to match the shift.
Right. I do off-road but I have had a vibration since new. This is the second dealer I went to for this and they sent me the obvious bend. When I went in the first 2 times I had not take the truck off road yet.
Now I'm stuck either buying a new wheel, repairing it or getting 5 new Methods...
