Iām running these and have punished them in Moab and other trails in southern Utah and Nevada. They slide right over obstacles and seem to be holding up well. The plastic slides do get scratched up, but thatās what they are for. Between these, their rear differential skid and a complete set of...
So the threaded adjuster would compensate for a load heavy enough to sag the suspension?
This would be a selling feature for me since I have skids, winch with bumper DB tonneau cover and about 500lbs of gear when I am off roading. I have been following this thread and the one for the Eibach...
I too am running those sleeves. I got mine from Foutz Motorsports. I have done a fair amount of rock crawling in Moab and southern Utah with zero issues. I carry a spare set of stock tie rods and a removal tool as piece of mind.
The 74 Weld upgrade seems like overkill for 35ā tires or stock...
You can take calls from both phones, but if you connect one of them to CarPlay the other drops out. If both phones are only connected to Bluetooth (not CarPlay) they will both take calls. I have this issue in both my ā24 RR and my ā23 F150 work truck.
You can kind of see what I crudely cut off. I was hoping this would prevent me from dragging the exhaust tips, it didnāt, but it helps. I will eventually cut the tips back because I have already ovalized them. I also think this helps prevent dragging the bumper on steep drops.
I have all the Rival skid plates as seen in the above photos and have been thrashing them rock crawling in my RR on several trails including Top of the World, Hells Revenge in Moab, several trails in Sand Hollow and the Toqeurville falls trail outside of St.George Utah. They are tougher than one...
I have 2 phone mounts in my work truck. The work phone is mounted to a quad lock windshield mount and it overheats in direct sunlight if stationary. My personal phone is in a Pro Clip in the work truck and my RR. It has never overheated in either truck.
Rival winch bumper w/out light bar. Warn EVO 10s winch with Warn Epic fairlead.
Had to use it twice on this trip. Got bellied out in the middle of La Verkin creek and I probably could have stacked rocks but the water was up to my knees so I hooked the winch to my brothers truck and no issues...
Iāve been wondering the same thing, thanks for starting this thread. Because I have the FP tune and 35ā tires I have been thinking about installing a larger sump pan to help keep the transmission happy. I too have all the Rival skid plates.
Iām by no means trying to fuel the argument because I too see both sides on this. However, I have tested my Rocky Road Outfitters sliders on a couple trails in Moab and my local OHV park. I have parked on them, slid on them and crashed them into rocks several times with zero damage to the...
The Rival bumper looks great! I chose not to install the light bar on mine, but now I am somewhat regretting that decision. It fits the truck really well.
Welcome to the group!
I have read that AAL is developing a mount for the new ARB brushless compressor. Maybe we can pressure them to speed up the process!
