That is a drag to have to remove the skid. But it’s not a big deal, plus you get to inspect shit while it’s off. I have aftermarket skids that have an access panel that comes out with 1 bolt.
Not so much on the RR (just using a ceramic spray as a drying aid) but on my M2 that was professionaly coated the wipers would chatter like crazy. I am assuming the blade would not "flip over" and just skip since the glass was so slick. And I always kept the blades clean.
I'm going to check mine. But I just had the filter out for cleaning after a dusty ass run. I know it's tight and there is no way that would cause that sound since it's "pre" everything. It feeds the turbo's.
Although I do not echo your sentiments on the K03 break away characteristics or maybe I don't lift when they break. I find them very controlable when they do break. What I do not like is the occasional push in the front end. That could be due to me not adapting to the truck just yet.

So I use to have vehicles professionaly coated but now I just use a ceramic drying aid when I wash the truck. After the final rinse, just spray it on and dry like normal. Water beads like crazy. Make sure you soak your drying towels in a rinseless wash solution for about an hour after you dry to...
