Not sure if this is the same across all Ford models, but have you or anyone else tried what recently worked for the Maverick? Sounds like they got it from a Superduty forum...
I think the big ground is 8awg. The positive/red leads are each 10awg.
I am planning on just grounding that wire to the frame under the bed. I will probably make a bigger ground from the battery to chassis/frame under the hood as well.
Not out yet for Ranger Raptor but supposedly coming. Ford Performance has had a tune out for a bit for the Explorer ST with the same 3.0. https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-9603-EX30 Sounds like Ford is 18 months into the development and regulatory process on the BRaptor tune, assuming it...
Thanks so much for this. Looks like the TSB is from 7/29 so they waited long enough to put one out there. Read through it, but I skipped adjusting the rubber stoppers.
After first verifying the hood shackle was already centered in the latch, I adjusted the latch straight up as high as it could...
I have to drop my hood from about 18" up since pressing it shut to get the second catch to latch like a normal vehicle doesn't work. However, today my entire dash was filled with a hood ajar warning even though the hood was clearly closed and entirely latched. Opening and closing it a couple...
I used the Ausmotion bracket since it tucks up higher in the OEM spot, but I sourced all my air line parts from McMaster Carr with the exception of the two ARB fittings which I got from a local 4x4 shop.

I wouldn't recommend a battery inflator if you're doing any wheeling in CO or at elevation. It is going to take FOREVER, and I would be surprised if they have enough juice to get all of your tires aired back up from low PSI. Go wheeling with some groups and see what people like. The compressor...
Napa also has that same design that I got a few years ago and is what I use in the other rigs. Napa occasionally has coupons as well. https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/BK_MTWM10215C
Are you able to find product links to the kit anywhere? I can only find it referenced for $972 on an AU ARB site but nothing else really. https://www.arb.com.au/new-vehicle-offerings/next-generation-ford-ranger-raptor/
I have a brand new ARB twin sitting in the garage that I never installed on...
Just did the break in oil change last night. Loved finding a loose grade 8.8 bolt sitting on the skid right under the front diff. I couldn't see any missing but have no idea where it would have come from. Really hope it was just dropped in the bay during assembly and left behind.
My dealer called me in the morning on 5/23 saying the truck had arrived and they were completing the PDI. The Ford tracker hadn't even updated to shipped yet and was reset to Order Confirmed. I think it probably shipped the day it kicked back to Order Confirmed after showing Built.
All your modules are populated along with a tear tag on the Motorcraftservices site so I think your truck is 99.9% "built" even though it isn't showing so on the tracker. I think I saw someone just mention that both the beadlockers and mudflaps are on constraint so I am guessing that is the...
How long ago was the deposit charge made? If within ~90 days, I'd file for a chargeback with your credit card stating the product you purchased wasn't delivered and include the paper trail requesting the refund with the dealer's refusal and maybe the state statute supporting your right to get...
I just noticed the Ford Premium Care extended warranty no longer lists "all internally lubricated parts" under engine, but it appears it used to last year. Yikes. That isn't reassuring to see as it was probably removed as a business/financial decision.
My order from October continues to sit out there waiting for Ford to schedule the build. The sales manager just received a stock allocation for another RRaptor this last week and put my options in on it as well to try to get me my truck faster just in case Ford pulls that one over their only...
Which Toyota dealers were you looking at in CO at MSRP? Think I saw Durango is $1,000 under MSRP on Tacos, and I know Mountain States is MSRP but their waitlist is a couple years for any of the Tacoma hybrids/TRD Pros/Trailhunters last I talked to them. I am really starting to second guess my...
I know the truck is designed to bomb through the dunes, but I definitely did NOT like seeing the placement of the rear reservoirs and adaptive damper sensors. Doesn't look like those skids/guards wouldn't protect against a strike on a big rock based on the damage my 3/8" steel skids have taken...
I know one of the well known Ford dealers that sells at MSRP did something like that, but they only priced it that high in their system so people would stop calling about it since it was already reserved/sold.
