WHP this, power for dollar that, what if I just want to spend some money to make some fuckin' noise.
And if you REALLY are into "whp for dollar" you better be waiting for some upgraded turbos to come out before you do ANYTHING else. Turbos, and an intercooler were what were needed for actual...
Washboards are all about damping. If damping is too soft in general the tire will wheel hop. Offroad stiffens up the shocks over standard comfort. When I ran heavy washboards recently I was at 39psi in off road and never had a single problem.
A lot of these things have already been figured out... If you look anywhere it is well known that the rear sensors should be protected. It was a stunt to sell parts, rather smart. I'm sure all they did during the cut is get under the truck and unplug the sensors with how fake the "omg the truck...
Yeah driver's side and passenger side does it.
Does it go away with the trim pulled off? Like a lot of the clip points on this truck, Tessa tape will be required to shut them up.
Just wait for cheaper stuff to come in. I was considering getting a group buy together of dynomotive parts (what the guys over there are actually using) and having my freight forwarder ship a pallet ocean to lower costs of freight.
I respect the hustle but 1200 for an airbox is outrageous...
Very much appreciated.
I wish there was a good way to activate these lights from the bed. Wouldn't have been hard for Ford to install a button like on the F150... But what can you do.
So for anyone else, my truck did NOT come optioned with the aftermarket bed lighting but does have it installed. Easy to miss as for some reason it does not turn on with a button in the back or with the tailgate opening, they turn on with the rear zone lighting.
I have played with this and make sure lane centering is turned OFF in the cruise control menu. This is what is currently buggy and causes the truck to feel like the alignment is screwed up and is throwing tons of errors at you to hold the steering wheel. I have not had an issue with cruise since...
I don't know if people are taking the piss or not, but I appreciate the thoughts. If I end up bringing the truck to a dealer for something else I will bring it up to them.
I may pull the APIM and see if I can 3D print a support for the dashboard on that area.
I mean I do see where the money went, the drivetrain is awesome and the bespoke changes made to the chassis and suspension make this an absolutely awesome truck to drive fast off-road with... My point is that this just a "really Ford?" moment. This is easy shit.
Do note what he said in the video, with the beadlock capable wheels you CAN NOT use a standard "shorty" air chuck to air up. I was just at silver lake and had to find air elsewhere.
From everything I see that's the issue with these trucks. Not enough fuel to keep up. Most flashes only add 3lbs of boost but add a ton of timing and fuel. Piggybacks can't really adjust fueling outside of short term and long term trims via data manipulation.
