I know. Most people did run a switch. I was actually going to run a wire all they way into the cab untill I find the wire in the rear connector. Just made it easier for me.
It goes out the same time that the cargo lamps turn off. Which means in that case, you can press the unlock button again on the remote, open one of the doors, or engage the lights using the button next to the headlamp switch.
