I am also working on a gasket that would fill in the gap on the front side of the cover. I get some water coming in from the front corners now. The catch is you’d need to loosen up the rails to slide the gasket in place or have them at installation time. Is that a dealbreaker?
I was considering making those, but wasn't sure how many people would need replacement ones. Are you looking for something that just replaces the factory insert?
Looks good! I've had mine for over a year and so far so good. The install was the hardest part. I wish they had better quality hardware. The quality seems to be lacking considering how much it costs.
I make and sell protective covers for those sharp raw edges at the end of the rails if you're...
Has anyone found an aftermarket solution for frozen wiper blades? My past vehicles had heaters for the wipers, or a strip on the windshield that helped with the ice. I find the wipers on the Ranger have been getting very iced up with the weather we've had in upstate NY and the defrost function...
I reinstalled mine a couple times before it sealed well. You really need 2 people to install it. I also used an extra clamp in the middle to secure it.
Definitely wish the quality was better for the price.
I put a Revolver X4TS on my XLT Ranger back in the spring. So far the cover works great, although for the price I think the fit and finish is less than desirable. One area is the end of the rails are rough cut with very sharp edges. When I installed the cover, I knew that I was going to cut my...
I've received a good amount of interest on these edge covers I've made considering I did nothing but post here. So, I've gone and made a slightly upgraded version.
+ Upgraded TPU material with a soft touch surface
+ Thicker material wall
+ Tweaked the fitment even more for a snug fit.

I’ve noticed the noice too. I didn’t consider the break boost update but it definitely started after that update. It goes away after awhile, but what would even cause that? Doubt the dealer will do anything.
I took my truck in and was told the vehicle was driving as it should and there were no codes.
I haven’t had it happen again, but I will probably post a complaint on the highway safety site.
Only thing I have noticed is that if you push lightly on the accelerator then there is more...
Well I was able to test with another vehicle and it looks like this may be a trailer issue.
I would still love to get a fuse diagram that match the car though.
I have a 25 Ranger XLT. Tried hooking up my camper for the first time and it went ok at first. I started going through the trailer light test and lights working and all of a sudden all the lights went out and the truck says there is no trailer plugged in.
I’m using a CURT Bluetooth break...
This has started to have this happen for me as well. 2025 with the 2.7. Truck has ~5000 now and I didn't have any issues until the past couple weeks. I've had this happen twice, seems to be random. I glide through a turn and when I go to accelerate nothing happens for like 2-3 seconds and then...
Might be tough. These are 3D printed, and in order to get the shape that surface has to be flat on the print bed. Let me try a couple things, I’ll post back next week.
I think a thicker weather stripping on the rails would help. I may replace it at some point.
The other issue I have is the sharp corners at the end of the rails. I made some custom end caps for them because I knew I would slice my leg open one day if I left it exposed. BAK Revolver X4s/x4s-t...
I'm a bit disappointed in the quality of the cover. The hardware is crap, I replaced all the nuts and bolts after one snapped on me installing. One of the clamps doesn't grip the rail well enough to hold down the end securely, so I may see if I can find an aftermarket one. Real Truck has been...
I have the same issue. It seems like the clamps that are in the kit are low quality, mine don't appear to grip the rail ridges at the end. I'm waiting for a reply from RealTruck, but I may see if I can find some aftermarket ones instead.
