I just bought the Ford bed extender. Exactly what I needed...except it is missing one bolt. Contacted the Ford Accessories people and they said my only option is to return the entire thing for a refund then order a new bed extender. Hard pass on that since I'd already assembled everything...
Nice! Not to hijack the thread but what is the purpose of the black thing behind the rear window? I've seen them on other vehicles but I don't know what function they serve. Light bar? Cosmetic? Roll bar?
Concur 100%. The instructors were professional, courteous, and friendly. Heck, I even thought the food was fine. Sure there are some things I'd like to see improved but overall I was completely satisfied and would recommend it to anyone with a R2.
Replying to my own post, I called Ford Accessories and they said the J-Brace no longer shows up in their inventory. The Rep didn't know if that meant they had stopped carrying it entirely or if they pulled it from the page because of backorder issues. So frustrating.
Bonus points for Ford...
I got the tune several months ago and while right off the bat I noticed the difference in shifting, I didn't think there was much of a muscle difference. Fast forward to last month when I went to the Ranger Raptor Assault course. They are running stock engines and I felt the difference...
I posted the same thing last Summer. No car wash, hand washed with Meguiars soap only. My RR sat on the lot in Michigan for months so plenty of exposure to the elements. Armor All looked good for a couple of days but that didn't last. I'll try the above recommendation.
I just tried to open the FordPass app and it took me to an updated Terms page. It is ridiculously long. I read it but my eyes definitely glazed over so for anyone that could stay focused as they read it, did you see any "Gotcha's" hidden in the text?
That looks great! My 2008 F-150 has slots in the side of the bed where you can drop in a 2x8, I was disappointed my RRaptor didn't have the same. If you get the itch, would really appreciate a stand-alone post detailing how you did it.
Still nice and warm but Winter Is Coming. I'm moving to the NC mountains this Fall and while our winters aren't like our Northern brethren, we get a few periods with snow and ice. Hoping some of you can offer recommendations for quality chains that do the job. Thanks.
I am having a different experience. Last THU during TS Debbie I drove from the Piedmont of N.C. to the mountains and had no issues. I had it in 4A the entire way. I kept the speed down a bit but otherwise drove normal. Along the way I passed at least 4 cars that had slid off the road.
Just noticed this on the rubber piece (not sure what it is called) next to the windshield. It is the same on both the driver and passenger side. Looks like water spots but I've never seen this happen on any vehicles I've had in the past. I tried cleaning it and also put some Armor All on it...
Not sure if this is an issue or just the way it is designed, but on my Ranger Raptor I cannot fully raise the wiper arms. On the passenger side it barely comes up at all as the hood blocks it. Is this "normal"? On my 07 F-150 both arms come all the way up, makes it super easy to wash the...
