1 set of RR running boards taken off my 2025 RR. Taken off with 350 miles on the truck. Replacement cost from Ford is over $4,000. Today they’re in Montana, next week they will be in the Phoenix valley. These are easy to ship. Quotes to ship from Montana to Texas is about $225. Asking $1,500 or...
I’m no mechanic or expert on this. But don’t you think you’ve done enough figuring out. Might be best to seek an expert at a Ford dealership. Hopefully they won’t have to manually install the 200 + lines of code that controls just about everything on your truck. Good luck.
Mechanic installed a new ProCal under warranty. Took 45 minutes. This one is registered to me and everything’s running great. Just remember do not plug in or unplug the ProCal unless the truck is completely shut off. Do change any thing unless a minimum 20 amp battery charger is hooked up.
I don’t think the mechanic is being above board with you. Maybe there is a way to load the tune onto the ProCal tool without registering everything exactly as instructed. Everything says it’s important to follow the instructions. Did the mechanic give you everything that came with the tool. If...
First the stock running boards. My wife hated the stock boards. Then when I told I was putting power running boards on she said why, I would be ruining the look of the truck. Actually the change was for my mom. We have breakfast once a week and at 88 she wouldn’t Be able to climb in and out...
I got my RR back with new powered running boards.
With door closed and step retracted.

I’ve had bug shields and PPF both in the past. If never had a bug shield break nor has the PPF ever looked like shit. I have a 9 year old car with PPF on and it still looks new. Bud shield protects about 5 inches. But leaves 7-8“ on either side unprotected. PPF can leave a small dent when hit by...
I originally thought if I was going to drive 1300 miles and return the truck to stock I might (a big might) save some gas money driving down the road with without the tune on the truck. With the ProCal you can switch the truck between stock and performance. The first few responses convinced me...
I hear what you’re all throwing down. I might save $50 on the gas and then lose 1/2 that on shitty mpg. And to top it all off I’m going to possibly put more wear & tear on my truck.
Thank all.
Yes, they are difficult to use. I’m 6’, so using the means I have to almost squat when I get in. getting out I either bang my head or scrape my back.
Now 1 foot in, 1 foot out, grab the steering wheel and pull myself in. Getting out, spin and scoot to 10 o’clock and use steering wheel to help...
I have a 1300 mile road trip next week. I have the FP ProCal Tune. I was thinking of setting the ProCal back to stock for the trip. Does anyone know if I could drop back to 89 octane or should I stay with the 93.
Thanks All.
In a way it’s like Arizona & Montana. Everybody is supposed to have collision insurance, but 30% don’t. So if somebody runs into you and it’s their fault, you end up fixing your own car anyway. What he happens if you’re seriously injured or dead. Still nobodies fault?
Glad no one was injured.
why would you have to pay your deductible if fault was the other driver. I don’t understand. Shouldn’t cost you a dime and they should supply you with a comparable vehicle while yours is being fixed.
The Raptor is not the truck For you. It tows just over 5000lbs. The Lariat can tow up to 7500lbs if properly equipped. You mentioned towing 6000lbs. I would look hard at how often and how far I’m pulling that kind of weight. Also how fast you want to drive. The 7500lb towing capacity only...
Update. The mechanic worked with ProCal trying to figure out how to put the ProCal into my name to no avail. They do not know why a new voucher number will not work. They are replacing the ProCal. The mechanic is coming to me to do the install. I hope Ford performance figures out how to change...
If you want to notice what you drive go with a raptor. They are quite the truck. For $800 you can put a factory approved tune that will give you more horse than you F150 ever thought possible. Just pain fun to drive. If you want to drive around in another Ford Ranger then get the Lariat. Both...
crapblaster is correct. No 1 amp charger will keep up with the drawn that installing the tune on to your truck might take. My mechanic says he’s not sure what might happen if it drops below the 11.6v, but it won’t be good. Call FP. Following the instructions closely is important and a must.
