I'm sure you know this. The ignition has to on and engine running to get current to the receptacle. You can't check the circuit with the engine off. You will not get a reading.
I need to investigate this too. It seems to be a filter like material like the type that would be in an air conditioner filter in your house however I don't see any evidence of a vent from outside the cab I checked with my inspection camera and just couldn't find anything. I first notice this...
The quickest way to get 12 V for bed lighting is to remove the inverter outlet plate then remove the left side bed light that comes with the bed remove the two bolts that holds the light housing and reach in through the inverter outlet plate space and squeeze the two remaining tabs to remove the...
Congratulations your 2.3L Ranger you ordered will be backed up by the same transmission used in the F-150 with a 664 foot pounds torque rating. I use mine on the beach and that engine will do just fine for you. As far as a cover the soft covers are close to being all the same. in my opinion. I...
I run on the beach I don't notice anything yet however I did coat everything with Cosmoline. I also notice while looking in the chassis frame there was a coat of protectant equivalent to vaseline on my 25 FX 4.
Looks like the turbocharger waist gate actuator (servo). Are there any drivability problems with your vehicle? The rod moves a bit when you start the vehicle this is normal. If you are concerned with the noise that is actually a little rough take it to your dealer.
If I remember correctly when I drove off the beach with the locking diff engaged and then switched to two wheel drive I had to switch off the locker. I think this is normal. You can switch on the locker in two wheel drive as needed. It will disengage over a certain speed and the locking icon on...
The door seal moldings and cab are air tight on my Ranger. That might explain why when you shut your door it would take a little extra effort to close them when your windows are in the up position. However I really don't seem to have a problem with it. For me the head rests were perfect when I...
I know it is integrated but sometimes I just use that term from all the jobs I have done in the past decades. I don't know why the dealer is dragging there feet with this guys Ranger.
I am an automotive tech 35 years . I ran an OEM filter on my Monte SS and a oil fed filter my Z 28. Driving each vehicle close to equal mileage in a span over 10 years even though the Camaro was a couple of years newer with oil changes every 3K. Even with proper air filter element cleaning and...
I used the clear Cosmoline on the shafts. You can brush it on or spray it. It will have a slight amber color or you can use the Black Cosmoline. I use it on both vehicles. I go off road on sand by the salt water so I want the most protection for the undercarriage.
