1. Open door
2. Step on running board with RIGHT foot.
3. Use right arm to grab wheel
4. rotate your rear towards the seat and sit back
5. Swing legs in
6. shut door and buckle up.
With no grab handle this works well and also saves your "nuts" from rollover or seat scuffs.
I'm a fan of paint and less is more. Graphics are for some. I was recently at a car meet in my 20 Shelby GT500 and parked next to you younger guys with GT500's as well. Great people. The question they asked me was "why no stripes"? My retort was I'm over 50.....
Rare to see. My first spotting of one was in Southern Brazil in Jan of 24. Have seen 1 or 2 here (Indy) but yet to run into another owner. I have a ton of people ask me about the truck. Right size, right stance and I took off the Raptor billboards on the bed.
Congratulations on your retirement and recent purchase. I love this vehicle and it is a real swiss army knife as far as uses. The modes make a difference and the R button can be your fun friend. Love being able to haul stuff and a$$. I saw an article where they called it the Michigan Miata...
I get it! I was just "unimpressed" with them early on and they have improved... Are they 6 pot brembo or even 4 pot good... simply NO. Interested in pad choices first then larger calipers/rotors/pad combos. Interested in what you find. Thanks for asking the question.
following!
My brakes improved with 5K on them. Not sure it was bedding or a precursory layer or me adapting to them. Definitely better pedal feel than first 2000 miles.
very impressive! I immediately looked to see where you live. Lafayette............................ Indiana please.......1 hour away from me. Alas no. CO. want to do the sound deadening followed by stereo upgrades.
My Chrysler 300 SRT8 was stolen in Chicago in November. Not a trace. I'd suggest a "club" steering wheel lock - may make them move on and a hidden "speakerless" airtag hidden in the car.
