Mines been sitting since 1/12. We will probably get it the same time. (or you sooner) Well i guess it would depend on the dealer location. I already see ppl who were just built 2 weeks ago getting there's.
Yeah pisses me off, I ordered July 2nd to get that. And original build week was 9/18.
And now my $1500 special deal from the auto show will likely expire before I take possession as well :(
Major bummer for sure.
Pretty much the same here. I liked the black but had a black car the last almost 18 yrs. So wanted something a little lighter. Seeing some of the blue vehicles I do like them more than i thought i would. Hoping the CG looks great in person.
Not sure how/why color would affect it. Mines been sitting since 1/12/24 and is the same color.
I think location in the lot they are sitting at is a bigger deal.
If they have to update the software/firmware they likely have to take a device to each one manually connect it and run that update...
So I checked tracking this morning and it last update was listed as today although no status updates. Last Updated 03/09/2024
I was thinking maybe this meant they scanned the vehicle to do updates and final QA checks.
So I opened the ford app and now it did give the activation...
My bad I also thought it was the dealer that told you to get the 2024 and not the 2023 and that they were the one's that gave you the timeline of 8 weeks. I guess you actually talked to someone at Ford who set and gave you bad expectations.
I expected to have mine before the end of the yr and...
Since my use case is just to keep stuff dry when camping and I wont be storing anything in it other than when I'm driving to and from places I plan to just get a softcover to start.
They are pretty cheap, and if I don't like it, or it get cut open I'll consider a hard top. I really don't want to...
Found the post and she said this was a pre production model

Grats,
Welcome to the hardest part of the waiting. Once you know it's built ,but just sitting there. At least for me it has been the hardest part. Dealer emailed me today telling me no new updates for shipping.
I was like WTH is the tiny window on the back. Newest truck I drove was a 2005. I can't remember if it had the window opening in the back. but with these tiny windows def can't crawl into the front from the rear like when i was a kid :D
Yeah it was back more than it needed to be for me. I noticed the passenger side wasn't as far back and was about perfect for me. I'm 6' and had 3-4 from my knees to the back o the seat.
I felt the same about the seats, that the rangers were the best. Although you couldn't even open the Tacoma to confirm at the show in portland.
I also set in the back seat and the Ranger had the best leg room for passengers as well.
I can't remember if it was the Colorado or the Canyon but man...
