I haven't prior to my ranger purchase and MAN, the difference it makes in oncoming headlight glare is well worth it alone. Bright sunny texas days are much more forgiving on the eyes compared to a naked windshield.
Thanks so much to kayapayapigdog and MAV for their insightful dives and detailed instructions.
Their combined inspiring completions gave me just enough confidence to give it an attempt. Didn’t lose any screws but I did have to rip out 2 of the liner screws….because they deserved it.
My transfer case sounds like it’s winding up fierce when I’m in 4x4 and to a lesser extent AWD but it goes away in 2H completely.

“Keep driving and you will see the manufacturers estimations of 16-18 mpg is accurate.” - my dad

some guys just have all the luck
Yea, this just makes me regret not getting the f150 even more.
13,000 in parts costing 50,000 to install, not worrying about damn drls either. Jesus , guide my hand into trading in my ranger for a raptor r with an amazing deal.

I was averaging 14 until first early service then I was getting 16.9 with Procal tune, didn’t bother waiting more than 4k miles because when I received my ranger it had 60-80 hours on the dash with a few miles.
These forums convinced me to do an early oil change.
Thanks a lot man, big fan. I’m hoping something cool happens after your videos get linked up. ;)
I’m just glad I didn’t have to wait a whole month for this link but I was prepared to wait them out!
