@Ford Motor Company can you please explain why Ford will not cover this repair for our trucks. It is obvious that it was a defect, reinforced by the fact that Ford fixed it in the same year model later down the road. We bought Ford's very best model trucks and I believe Ford should make this...
The lane keeping in my Honda Accord is the same, you have to jiggle it to prove you are driving. I use Lane centering on-demand... need both hands off the wheel for a second to open my drink, that sort of stuff. I wish Ford would let us turn it off by default, that is what I was used to from...
I am going to help my brother move and will be towing his 5x8 ATV trailer. I am shopping for a hitch and was wondering about the drop measurement, should I get a 2" drop or a 4" drop?
I'm just shoacked that Ford engineers let a truck that can't support over 90lbs on the bed rails go into production. This should absolutely be a recall or warranty job. I mean what truck can't support a topper? Was this a limitation on the 5th gen?
I just checked and mine has the same fiberous foam piece in the same spot. It is starting to seem like an expected piece. I didnt notice it before, but my truck is white so it blends in.
I'm considering fas-top and their combo (tonneau and stow-away soft top): https://www.fas-top.com/fas-top-traveler-topper-tonneau/
Good price for both and easy to swap between them.
Mine takes a heafty push to latch as well. I find if I put my palm on the seat right where the latch is, it latches a little easier. I'm going to look into Crapblaster's shim idea.
