Thanks. How hard was the install? From the pics I've seen posted in one of the posts, the controller has to be mounted to a location in the steering well, using a wooden block. Did you do the same? Did the plug work without any issues with the bronco harness?
Please let me know.
Thanks.

Yes, if you can get me the part #s (and instructions from your install, if possible) that will be great. There was a post on here for a Redarc brake controller with a rotary knob that is supposedly plug and play as well. If anyone has had success with that, please advise.
Thanks.

I have a 24 XLT 4wd with FX4 and tow package. I have the hitch and 4/7 pin plugs, but no brake controller.
I saw a very lengthy post on here with a lot of back and forth on the process and whether it works.
Can someone who has done this please direct me to a set of instructions and confirm it...
Wow, that’s rough! Sorry to hear about your issues with fuel efficiency.
Since I started using eco mode religiously, mileage has been around 21mpg for mostly city driving. Not bad for a midsize truck.
Overall, I LOVE the ranger so far, but it’s my first truck so I don’t have anything to compare...
Yes, eco mode is great! Mileage is at 21mpg in primarily city driving! If only I didn’t have to keep pushing the ok button on every start……sigh!!!
I’ve been driving around in ECO mode the last few days, and mileage seems to be noticeably better.
Having to answer the question “return to eco?” every time I start the truck is annoying. Any way to get around this and stay in ECO mode until I decide to switch?
Thanks.

I’m interested in this as well. I don’t mind using the fob to lock/unlock, but it will be great to not have to insert the key to start the truck. Looking forward to someone coming up with a solution!

I’m looking for a decent black roll bar as well. Saw a couple of them on eBay but waiting for more options. Would like to mount an LED light bar on it as well.

I got my 24 XLT with 301A/FX4/Tow Pkg in March for $41.3K OTD. I wanted the auto climate control, so I had to upgrade to the XLT. But the extra features (power heated seats, bigger screen, power rear window, phone charger) are pluses IMO. Make sure you negotiate! I had to visit 7-8 dealers in...
Hi All,
Took my 2024 XLT on it's first long drive over the weekend. About 300 miles each way. Mileage was 19MPG calculated on the way there (19.7 shown by the computer) and 19.8MPG on the way back (20.6 shown by the computer). Drove faster on the way there (going up to 90 in certain stretches)...
That's great!! Is it easily accessible from the top?
There are some youtube videos that talk about having to remove the wheel well panel shown above to get at it. Is that not necessary? It looked kind of intimidating, especially since I enjoy doing my own oil changes with Mobil 1 synthetic!
Anyone installed this one? It's priced at $239 currently.
Is the quality pretty good? Looks like a lifetime hardware and 10 year cover material warranty.
