I used to get the wrench icon on my explorer when I’d floor it. The fix was to stop, shut it off, wait a bit, turn it back on. Dealer never did find anything actually with it. Engine light never came on though, in your case, hopefully that triggered a code the dealer can investigate.

Thanks for the review as I’ve considered an Explorer st as well. My 20 non st was a nice car but hardly trouble free. I’d have thought they’d have it perfected by now even with the refresh. But apparently not.
I think this is a color I’m really going to need to see in person. Doing B&P on an F150 KR apparently marsh gray is the two tone accent color if I read right. Still, need to see this over a whole vehicle in person I think as I probably would like the color.
Thanks everybody for all your advice! I finally went to check one out today in person. Sales guy put me in a 2.7 xlt mostly to drive the v6 as he’s convinced it’s the better choice in engines. I had to agree after trying it. The whole vehicle felt so natural I didn’t even think about driving...
Good luck with it! Size wise it should give you a good idea & comparison with a full size for cabin space. Even if the rest might not be directly comparable.
