I was just told by a service manager that the J braces and labor are only covered under warranty if you get a bed topper. And that photo submission is required. Otherwise you’ll have to pay.

Honestly, the truck itself has no rust. It’s brand new. The only pieces with surface rust are the rear axle and drive shaft. They just have been outside for a while. Not that it’s acceptable, but it’s not the case that they ran these trucks through the salt and then loaded them up for sale.

The under carriage is brand new. The only pieces that are rusted are the driveshaft and rear axle. They must have been together sitting outside. Or old stock from old rangers if they are the same?

Mine is the same, but only 57 miles at delivery. I think the axle and drive shaft were outside while the strike was going on maybe?

Agreed. My dealership is 400 miles from MAP and my Truck was delivered by convoy. And the convoy went beyond that to deliver other trucks.

Since you ordered by July 5, you should get the $1000 and old price (before they went up post-strike) on the old order. I’d think about that before ordering a new one.

Thanks for this. As I confirmed in other posts, I received the $1000 rebate. My salesman said there was a “certificate” they had received and credited my sales price by the 1k.
