If it means anything I had a 12 Raptor with under 30k miles that I traded straight up in 21 for a 21 Tacoma. Needless to say I’m coming back to Ford with a RR order.
What initially sold me was the reliability reputation of the Tacoma that’s echoed by their fans. Prior to the first oil change...
I would go the local route then. As much as it pains me to say a 3k markup is reasonable. I checked with 25+ Ford dealers in PA and the average was 5k markup. Those two dealers I mentioned are submitting supplemental orders since their allocation was accounted for. You realistically won’t see...
If you don’t mind driving down to PA I know of two dealers that are selling orders at MSRP. I was finally able to find a dealer here that had their allocation available at MSRP so I cancelled the other two orders.
I just went through this same dilemma. After I read a comment that the SGM looks like baby poop I can’t unsee it. Why couldn’t Ford offer Eruption Green is beyond me. I would’ve picked that in a heartbeat, it looks banging on Broncos.
Anyway, I switched over to Velocity Blue. I had a Gen 1 Blue...
Update: I went to the second dealer today and signed the papers. As much as I hate paying an ADM, I really want this truck. When I was getting ready to leave I asked when I would get the confirmation email from Ford. The GM said I wouldn’t get one. I found this a little concerning. He stated...
Thanks for all the replies. So I did submit the MSRP retail order through the first dealer. I got the confirmation email yesterday. The other dealer did send me an email,
with the $2500 adm in writing. That would be for their allocated unit. He also said they would do the $0 ADM retail order...
Appreciate the replies. I don’t understand how the allocation order compares to the other order, which I’m assuming is a “retail” order. Would my assessment in getting the “allocated“ vs “retail” much sooner be correct?
Hey all,
Long time lurker, first time posting. I finally decided to proceed ahead with going back to Ford (had a gen 1 Raptor) and ordering a RR. As of now I have two options on the table.
1) Order at MSRP from a local dealer. The salesman stated that their “allocated” order is already...
