  1. Front Sensors Blocked Error

Neither on my truck. Clean and it was washed a couple of weeks ago and sits in the garage
  2. Front Sensors Blocked Error

My XLT started giving me the front parking sensor error. The temp dropped here and it does it every time I come to a stop. Annoying as hell. Mine is the right sensor. Sensors are clean.
  3. POLL: Which trim did you buy?

Not sure where you are in Kansas, I had my Line-X done in Leavenworth. Completely happy with the job that was done. They removed and replaced all the tiedowns unlike a lot of jobs I’ve seen done on here.
  4. Electrical System/Brake Failure

Did the EBB come in? Did it fix the issue?
  5. Engine reving up to 4000 rpm while braking

I had this a couple of times when I first got my truck. It was accompanied by a message on the dash saying something like Brake Applied, Power Reduced. It was me catching the accelerator with my foot. It was just a learning process for me.
  6. Why did you choose Midsize

This is my third midsize truck. I use it as my daily transportation. Here is my F350 longbed Dually with diesel if I need to haul or pull big. The Ranger does what I need to do most of the time and that includes towing my small camper and even a car trailer for short trips. The 350 is just a...
  7. POLL: Which trim did you buy?

And they aren't even real leather. I opted for a fully loaded XLT because I wanted cloth seats.
  8. Rocks in engine bay

Go to a drive through car wash and use their outside vacuums. Here the vacuums are free, even if you don't buy a wash.
  9. RR 3.0 Wet Belt Driven Oil Pump - issues in future?

Thanks for the advice. It’s always helpful coming from those who have tried it, I wouldn’t have done it anyway, I have no envy for a Raptor. Regardless your’re a hoot bro. You really do need to end your obsession with both the size of my member and the size of my engine. It’s not healthy. Just...
  10. RR 3.0 Wet Belt Driven Oil Pump - issues in future?

The 2.3L crowd are just sour grapes trying to justify their shortcomings. We used to call it little-dick syndrome.:shock:
  11. RR 3.0 Wet Belt Driven Oil Pump - issues in future?

@daytoncarter I've towed many miles with both. 2.3L in a 2022 Ranger and a 2.7L in a 2024. The 2.7 is hands down better at towing. For the record I'm towing a 1940 Ford on an 18 Ft car trailer as well as a 19' camper. When you get into any hills, the 2.7 is much better at both pulling and...
  12. Motor oil and filter - does it matter what kind?

I've watched that video before. Great content. My comments: conventional oil, not even semi synthetic in one and full sytnhetic in the other. 500k miles on each with 10K oil change intervals. No oil related engine failure on either one. Tells me what t I've learned over 50 years of driving...
  13. 2024 XLT 2.3L power loss going around corner

Just happened again on my truck. Same place, same turn. It has nothing to do with transmission, wheel slip, etc. The accellerator just goes dead for a few seconds, no RPM increase, no shifting either. In my case I'm going slightly downhill, making a quick rolling left turn transitioning into an...
  14. 2024 Ford ranger XLT FX4 2.3L POOR STOPPING DISTANCE.

ALL RANGERS HAVE BRAKE BOOSTER... Mine has electric brake booster.
  15. Bedside steps

For reference, I paid $202 on the invoice for the side steps when I ordered my 2024.
  16. White Item Between Cab and Truck Box

My '24 XLT has it and our '19 and '21 base Rangers at O'Reilly have it.
  17. Experience with Bakflip Gen 3 MX4 Cover

I put the BAKFlip MX4 on my Ranger last September and it has been flawless. I've opened and closed it many times, both fully and partially with NO latching issues. Maybe it was an install issue? Also had the MX4 on my GMC Sierra for years. Only issues there were self-induced. I forgot to attach...
