I would bet B&P won't be live until at least the day or hours after the order guide is released to dealers; and considering the order guide isn't here or on Blue Oval Forums yet means we are still a day away on the low end in all likelihood.
Regular lineup currently shows: grey, grey, grey, silver, white, black, red, and blue. Colors clearly aren't a priority for Ford. ?
I have ZERO intention on ever buying a Toyota. But Toyota will overshadow Ford's reveal by a mile the moment they mention their hybrid and people see the...
Depending upon the cost I wouldn't deem it worthwhile for 3 gallons. Just another disappointing lack of a feature. But possibly it becomes part of an optional package for the 2.7l so who the hell knows.
I believe "smiles per gallon" can be just as important as miles per gallon for a lot of people, but I was genuinely wondering if outside of that metric if the 2.7l will provide anything the 2.3l doesn't. I have heard that both engines are great for what they are, but I didn't know if the 2.3l...
Somewhat serious question asked in a silly way: If the F-150 engine isn't moving the needle on towing capability from 7500 in the 2.3l, what's the perk outside of "faster vroom vroom?"
The more I am asking for is the idea that this reveal is supposed to serve as a statement about where Ford...
TFL's video and @All Terrain Nation have mentioned the power rear window on the Raptor, so I would imagine that would at least make its way to the Lariat trim.
Also, judging by one of the Lariat images, it appears that the driver's side heated seat and heated steering wheel might be linked...
I was hoping for more than what they gave us, that's for sure. Outside of the Raptor, what features can Ford brag about vs the competition in this reveal? One more engine option that will be available somewhere down the line? BLIS for trailers? 400w power? Is that really what they want to hang...
So far the negativity seems warranted granted the state of the "reveal." The Raptor is a big deal, absolutely, but that's all that has been hyped so far; and everything Ford has touted in their <4 minute reveal video is nothing extraordinary or that hasn't been seen in their other vehicles.
Personally, I like the idea of a 2.7l hybrid better than a 3.0l hybrid. And I would probably love a 2.3l hybrid most of all; my Ranger would be a pavement princess 98% of its life (maybe ~93% when we get a camper) and efficiency/practicality rules the roost for me.
I was more or less wondering...
Where would the Lincoln Aviator's AWD PHEV system fall into that mix? Would you think that would be a viable system to utilize in the Ranger if they had a viable way to bump the tow rating from the Aviator's 5600 to something closer to 6500/7000?
I feel like the most recent comments are getting my hopes up for a HEV or PHEV announcement tomorrow and I don't need that kind of excitement in my life!
Making my head swirl with "well, the Bronco and Ranger are being built in the same plant that built the C-Max, so they definitely have the...
Unless you have already coordinated something with you dealer, just be careful with waiting with the Bronco. The fine print stipulates the dealer can sell your custom order if you don't pick it up within a set amount of days (I believe it is 2 or 3).
That is the true dilemma I am about to face. My Maverick build is finally scheduled for 5/11 and I am damn near giddy for it, but also balancing the thought in the back of my mind of "did I really wait for my Maverick for this long only to give up on it for the 6g Ranger and wait some more?"...
Just went through the Australian Ford website for the first time since they added the Ranger Platinum trim a month ago or so and excited to see it has ventilated seats. Hopefully that's good news for NA. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for that, a moon roof, and eruption green metallic paint...
Michigan is correct. Video starts out at M-39 Northbound exit 8 (Warren Ave) which is about 3 miles north of the Dearborn Proving Ground; it's called something different now, but I can't remember what it changed to (switched in the late 00's I think). Used to be the Dearborn Proving Ground and...
