There are some questions whether the people laid off at the other plants would be eligible for Unemployment benefits. Ford would certainly fight that. Plus, they are working without a contract right now, so any extra they would receive on a regular layoff from the companies wouldn't happen...

As someone who’s worked at an automotive supplier, who went on strike, you don’t want that truck. The replacements do the best they can, but they’re just not trained like the regular workers. You’re talking about software developers, middle management, maybe engineers.

I'm seeing the same thing. That's why I'm saying not to believe the dealer. They might get that additional allocation later, but from what I've heard Ford will fill retail orders first when they issue more allocations.

I'd pull off anything that you can get done easily after taking delivery. The Spray in Bedliner will delay your delivery. I was told this by multiple dealers. You can get Linex at home same day, Ford will send your truck out to get sprayed.
