I think if you get an fx4, you have to use the screen, because where the locker button would be is now the big off-road button to the left of the the 4 wheel shifter. If you don’t get the fx4, but get the rear locker as an add-on, you get a physical locker button and not the off-road physical...
I always do model based drawings so i modeled the actual part in Fusion 360. I also needed the model for the 3D print test part i did before i sent it off to SCS. Ive tried attaching STEP(Generic 3D model Data) files before to the forum and it is not an allowed type of attachment.
It seems like...
Yes, you could use the 1.25 aluminum level kit from superlift and not install the strut lca spacer in that kit to get a 1” level. I actually used that install guide for some of my write up on the level install process, but it was missing some details I thought were important. And also obviously...
They do. I said in my original post they have a 1” lift. But is 2x 1/4” steel plates tacked together( good chance for un-powder coated steel between the spacers) and it’s also $140 shipped and from what I can tell from the kit, they do not include additional hardware for proper thread stick out...
the rear did not change at all and remained at 38.25" so i now have about 1.625" rake.
It may not look like much of a difference from the pictures, but in person there is a lot more room in the front wheel well and I also noticed a decent change in my position from the drivers seat.
I was looking for a mild 1" lift but all i could find was Ranger lifts (2 1/4" welded steel plates). I wanted something in aluminum for corrosion resistance and i also wanted a little fun designing something of my own. I created a design for 6061 Aluminum and had it laser cut by Send Cut Send...
Ive spent way too much time debating what to do between 285/70/17s that need +2k in wheels in tires and then another 400 in flares and a 2.5" level that gets rid of the rake or just get 265/70/17s on stock wheels and a 1-1.5" level, but then i only get a .5" diameter increase. I dont think 275's...
Has anyone expired a groaning/ moaning sound from the rack when turning at slow speeds when it’s raining?
I’ve only noticed when it’s raining and I drive the truck after having it parked. The sound occurs when turning at slow speeds like a parking lot.
any ideas?
Maybe flash rust on a...
How are yall fitting wider tires on stock wheels? I don’t have a level and my 255/70/r17s have less than a finger width between the upper control arm and side wall. Do the black appearance wheels have a different offset/backspacing than the standard wheels?
Update:
Decided to proceed with the custom design and went through Send cut Send for the fabrication. All in all, killer price and shipping from Send cut Send. Was about $15 per steel anchor which included the flat black powder coating and arrived in only 4 days after placing the order.
Has...
And you see in the other world markets that there is a clocking slot for the non bottle opener brackets to the left of the cable bolt. The US models rely on the bottler opener bracket to clock on the upper left slot.
By cutting the bracket i will lose the clocking on the cable stops and they...
Ive been looking for tailgate mounted anchors and haven't found any solutions for purchase online. The closest I can find is this style below, that says it is for 23-24 ranger but the holes don't seem to line up.
Only Kind of Relevant Solution I Found Online
Heres what my tailgate looks...
Thanks. Ill have to wait and see how the plastic holds up and thats a clean looking solution you designed.
Ive used Xometry alot for work, but they're fairly expensive. I was think of using Send cut Send for a different project( an ultra low tie down bracket in the bed), but im not happy with...
First post as a member, got my 2025 XLT about a month ago and love it, but the only downside has been the lack of ( from what i can tell) mods for the newest gen rangers.
I had a fire extinguisher i kept in the trunk of my old car and wanted to move it over to the truck, but i cant seem to find...
