For the people mounting the antenna on the bed and close to the cab, be aware that the cab will block radiation from & to that direction.

Everyone's ass is different. I made a west coast to east coast (and back) drive last summer and have no complaints about the seat comfort. As with any long drive, I needed to periodically adjust the position just for a change, but never any real discomfort.

Personally, I think leather is hot in the summer and cold in the winter. I've had the leather seats before and didn't care for them. The leather tends to absorb perspiration and acquire an odor.The cloth seats ventilate much better and don't stink.

Is your spare tire the same as the other four? If, so, you could swap the spare tire onto the alum rim. My experience with plug-patches is that they're pretty reliable if properly installed.
