  1. My Ranger Raptor build just started: 37's - Portals - Stage 3 HOSS Steering - etc...

It is just about ready to come home. I felt like the fenders lines in the rear didn’t really look right with the 37’s. So my guys took some material out of the rear portion of the rears. I think it looks much better now. You can kind of see in the pictures how it flows a little bit better.

Yeah won’t be narrower anymore. I wish the tires stayed under the fenders. Never been a fan of the poke look. But not many other solutions to retain the Fox and Ford geometry and integration.

I have some better built dedicated crawlers and off road machines. But this truck will be great for the tighter spaces where my bigger rigs would just get destroyed with the overhanging branches.

Yes I am going to keep the stock wheels and set them up as beadlocks. I haven’t been able to find any other +55 beadlocks anywhere. With the gears and tune combined I think it will drift 37’s on dry pavement without any trouble. They do stick out quite a bit more than I would have liked. I am...

I think it was about $20k for the portals, steering, and tie rods. Definitely not cheap. Time will tell if it was worth it.

To each their own. My goal with just about any truck I get is how much rubber can I squeeze in there. 37’s maybe a small 39 will probably be the biggest unless you are willing to cut a ton of fender. But I think this rig has the power and definitely the gearing to stay quick and nimble with...
  7. What happens when the live part of the shock fails?

If one fails they all go into very rough stiff ride not just the shock that is disconnected.
  8. What happens when the live part of the shock fails?

Mine came disconnected on my drivers rear on an excursion through some really rough gravel. You get a warning on your dash that the system needs maintenance and it rides really firm. Once I found the unplugged shock plugged it back in the warning on the dash went away and the ride became plush...

I would love to answer all your questions about programming of the HOSS and the ground clearance but I wasn't able to get it out of the shop before the weekend. They are trimming a little on the fenders so they have ample clearance for these 37's as well as any true 37's or offset wheels that...

I have about 5,000 miles on my RR. Left it totally stock for the last 6 months. Its been a great little truck. Really moves quick. Super fun on the street and really fun on the occasional dirt road. But havent really wheeled it because it sat so low and the 33's are 4" smaller than the tires on...
