It will start if the battery voltage drops or if the AC needs to come back on to maintain temps. This is briefly mentioned on page 179 of the manual. Hope this helps
I found there are two different systems at play. Lane Centering is explained beginning on page 270 in the owners manual. The Lane Keeping system is explained beginning on page 290. Perhaps you are trying to turn one of these systems off but the other is still working. Hope this helps.
On my Lariat 4X2 there is a button on the drivers side of the shift lever. If you push that button it displays all 10 transmission speeds with an indicator as to which gear is in use. Not sure if this is the same with an XLT 4X4. Hope this helps.
That worked. Go to the clock setting and right below select "auto time update". With this feature turned on the clock keeps correct time. Thanks for the suggestion.
I have had to reset the clock on my Lariat every day for the past two days. This morning it was off over 2 hours. Anyone else having problems with the clock keeping accurate time?
I just completed a 400 mile round trip in my Lariat 4X2. Averaged 26.5 MPG cruising at 70 MPH. The weather ranged from 95+ to 70 with hard rain. 90% was flat interstate driving with only a little in town driving. It makes no sense to me why your Lariat 4X4 would have such low MPG.
For now I just have a rubber mat that came out of my previous truck (2015 F150). I cut it down to fit and it works OK for now. I plan to get an Undercover SE Tonneau Cover (hard one piece cover). The factory says they hope to have them available for the 2024 Rangers in late June.
I ordered the Ford Tailgate Liner with my Ford Pass points. I am pleased - just unscrew some of the existing screws and install longer ones to attach the liner.
Thank You! That worked. I had been pushing the "off" button on the left knob so that the yellow lights were off on both sides. With the left button on and the right button AC off it worked. Some of us "Grandpa types" need an image to follow. Thanks again.
Perhaps I have some settings wrong or just don't understand, but when I deselect the AC it turns the fan off. I have read the owners manual and can't find any description of how to blow fresh air throughout the cabin.
Is it possible to get fresh air through the dash vents? On my new Lariat it seems I always get AC or Heat when the fan is running. Turning the AC off seems to close the shut off the fan and I would like to have the fan circulate outside air through the cabin. Am I missing something or do...
I think the $1,000 pre-order rebate was only for those who ordered a truck before regular production started. So, I think those qualifying for this rebate needed to order their truck in 2023. This is just my observation but I don't recall anyone qualifying for the rebate that ordered in 2024...
Thanks, I just made this so have no real experience using it. I think it would be OK to leave the belt in this position as long as there were no sharp edges on the metal strap that might wear or fray the belt itself .
