Totally true. I lived in Bellevue, WA back in 2017 and was shopping for an F-150 Raptor. Bill Pierre Ford had insane markups even back then. "Covering costs?" Don't do me any favors. Avoid this dealership unless you have $$ to waste and are totally desperate.
Yes, I see what you are referencing now. I don't have anything there either, but filled the space with a trim piece that came with my tonneau cover. So, you will need to install a cover to make it look finished.
I purchased my RR off the lot where the truck already had the graphics. Leaving them on for now. I think the graphics look good depending on the color of the vehicle. On my carbonized gray, white and black, I think it looks good. Not so much on the red and blue versions. Just my opinion. To...
Yes, my experience was the same. A customer experience specialist on the truck team contacted me directly with a case number and coordinated with the dealer.
Need to just be persistent to avoid paying over MSRP. Atlanta region Ford dealers are asking $5, 10 15K over MSRP which is just pure greed. Found my RR on the lot at a dealer in north Georgia. Paid MSRP. Drove a little to save a lot!
I doubt the dealer will take $5K off the price. Instead, I believe the dealer can file a Misbuild Claim with Ford to get the rear seats replaced. The challenge is that you are working with an out of state dealer which makes the fix logistically difficult. Perhaps make an arrangement to have...
I agree. This is a manufacturing miss and Ford should make good on it. Back in 2017 when I purchased my F-150 Raptor, another Raptor on the lot had an incorrect door panel installed and the dealership had ordered a replacement from Ford at Ford's expense. I remember the sales manager saying...
The technology exists, but Ford didn't include it on my Raptor. On my wife's BMW X5, I can unlock and start the vehicle with either my iPhone or Apple Watch. I wish the Ranger was the same.
I am with you and the price paid or comparison to a Mercedes is not the point. Ford needs to return to a focus on quality. Fit and finish should be fairly simple at this point in the evolution of automobile manufacturing. Anything less is disappointing.
I know some say its only a Ranger, but for the price paid or even Ford having some pride in final assembly, that needs to be made right. In my instance, the front passenger seat is heavily wrinkled compared to the driver's side and both "Ford Performance" sill guards were apparently hastily...
There is a thread here on the forum for this issue. Seems to have appeared on vehicles that were on QA hold. Almost like something was taped there for a while and the residue damaged the trim.
