I'm selling my Ford NON RAPTOR j-braces. I bought and installed the EGR version while waiting for these to arrive.
Never installed or taken out of box.

It's working great for me. I ended up just using the bed cap mounted rails and adding my own mounts for cross bars so that they are only a couple inches from the top of my tonneau.
If I were to purchase again I would just buy the rails. If I wanted a cab height rack, I would have bought the...
I test fit some large Plano sportsman's trunks on my cargo carrier tonight. They sit right at cab height, so I'm happy with them. I used some 1" wide ratchet straps to hold these down, but I feel like there's a better way. Does anybody have any experience with mounting these trunks?

This is the Adarac M-series (mid height) rack.
"Height above the box rail: 12 in. for all trucks. Weight Capacity: 1,000 lbs. static, 500 lbs. dynamic and 400 lbs. off-road dynamic"
They make a taller one that is 12" taller than this that would sit roughly 6 inches above the roof line. Same...
My advice is to just buy the one you know you want from the beginning. I bought a cheap Tyger soft tri fold and it worked just fine, but I knew I really wanted an aluminum hard tri fold.

265/70R17 Toyo Open Country AT3 on my Lariat and they are great. I just when through some clay/mud with them this afternoon on some trails and they didn't struggle at all.
I believe they are one of the lighter AT tires if I remember right.
I used my Adarac rails and cross bars, but mounted them with strut channel 90° brackets to lower the cargo rack down quite a bit. Much easier to access and I can still open the first third of the tonneau.
Mine comes right up to the edge of the tailgate, and there is room to scoot it toward the cab probably about an inch if needed.
I have a 2024 Lariat just FYI.
