Thatâs honestly an awesome approach to building e-bikes. Designing around real comfort and accessibility instead of just chasing specs is something a lot more companies should pay attention to.
One thing we kept hearing from Ranger owners was how quickly the top edge of the tailgate gets scratched up from loading bikes, coolers, recovery gear, etc.
Curious whatâs been the roughest thing your tailgate has had to survive so far? đ
And I have to admit⊠I donât think Iâve ever seen a side-by-side bike like that before. đ
Now Iâm curious, are those bikes actually easy to ride once youâre out on the trails, or do they take a little getting used to?
Doesnât have to be a crazy off-road trip either, even a weekend drive, campsite, fishing trip, or random scenic stop counts. Letâs see those Rangers out doing truck stuff.

Didnât expect this thread to turn into a full-on scenery showcase, but weâre definitely not complaining. These photos seriously make you want to leave the office immediately and hit the road.
But your pics are missing, old friend.
Windows down. No agenda. Just your car, your people, and wherever the road goes.
Spring is the season that turns a regular Saturday into a memory. A mountain trail you almost didn't take. A lakeside spot someone mentioned once. A camping trip that took three attempts to finally happen.
We want...
Thatâs actually a really solid suggestion. A lot of Ranger owners seem to land in the same spot, the M12/M18 inflators are great for topping off, but once you start airing back up after trails, onboard air is hard to beat.
Really good point, and probably one of the biggest weaknesses with a lot of the budget inflators out there.
Itâs interesting you noticed the same âslow but reliable enoughâ behavior across brands too. That seems pretty universal unless you jump into the larger shop-style compressors or premium...
The âridgesâ (not fold memory lines) are indeed doing what theyâre designed for, increasing friction and helping prevent cargo from sliding. But your experience with the ladder catching on those raised seams is also exactly the downside of that design choice in daily-use work trucks.
What do...

Bringing this back up because weâve been reviewing real-world usage cases.
For those using your trucks for work / hauling / muddy conditions, do you feel current mats (OEM or aftermarket) provide enough side and threshold protection?
A lot of feedback weâve seen mentions water/mud getting...

Thatâs a really solid breakdown â pretty much lines up with what a lot of us have experienced with the DeWalt DCC020IB 20V MAX Inflator.
And that memory reset issue⊠youâre definitely not alone there. We should definitely put that on the list when we design the inflator.
That âno pressure...

I completely understand the frustration around connectors, letâs leave the topic of connectors behind! A standard QR air hose connector would be a great way to simplify things, and offering a QR connector for the stem would definitely streamline the setup.
Regarding the battery setup, having...
Really appreciate all the detailed feedback here, this thread has been gold! đ
After going through everyone's responses, a few clear themes are standing out:
â Preset pressure + auto shutoff seems to be the #1 ask â nobody wants to babysit the gauge
â Inflate AND deflate to a target PSI â...
