Note: I'm not harping on your display, but man, I'm kind of iffy on the digital display. I'm old school and prefer physical dial for tach, speed, temp and fuel, like my '21.
What I really dislike about it, is the oversized, always on temp and fuel gauges on the left and right.
Go buy a Toyota, I'm sure you will be happy with that.
In a statement issued Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024, Toyota announced it is recalling about 381,000 Tacoma midsize pickup trucks in the U.S. because a part can separate from the rear axle, increasing the risk of a crash. The recall covers certain...
I understand the frustration with this problem, but using Ranger Raptor is a bad example, because what you stated has happen. Some orders were cancelled, other got their Raptors before some that ordered Raptors earlier, and some got hit with ADM on orders.
Bad business practice, no doubt.
Correction, the beds should have been designed to not need after sales modifications to do what trucks do. The only way they were offered a customer satisfaction install was if you purchased the truck with the Ford branded bed cap.
As for prices, all things are going up. The original engine...
Someone posted a short clip that showed Marsh Grey, Space White, and Desert Sand as new colors for '25, but no word yet on official colors. And these may only be for Raptor

That's been there on 5G also. Many people remove it because it traps leaves and dirt.
Don't worry about the smart asses here that give little or no help. As on most forums, the search function sucks.
Supply/Demand It's that simple.
Here, 6G Rangers are so rare they are hard to find in stock, and if you do, dealers aren't budging on MSRP, even though F150s have $6K off MSRP.
That's good to know and is an actual law here 'Lights on when wipers are on'.
Too many times I see people barreling down the highway at 60+ in the rain without their lights on, even though the wipers are slapping away.
Where is vehicle milage recorded? Is it in the instrument cluster or in the ECU?
Somewhere at some time I read that milage is recorded and stored in the ECU, and that a cluster swap would update its reading with data from the ECU.
Years back, it was impossible to swap clusters without the dealer...
Except you didn't. You only said, 'see the other thread'.
The least you could have done in your 3 replies is provide a link.
Anyway, pretty much any one can install the tune, but warranty is void if not installed by Ford or a certified ASE shop.
Ford doesn't make toppers, so why only Ford toppers?
The way I read it is that the TSB will only pay for braces if you bought the topper thru Ford.
Buy it elsewhere, you are on your own for purchase and install of braces, which is still bad on Ford's part as they know problems could arise with...
