No idea myself, but you may want to look around on https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/
I currently have a Maverick and a member on that forum. There's numerous folks there have swapped their dash, steering wheels and lots of other components. One guy even swapped the rotating gear shift...
Welcome!!! Your build is along the lines of what I'm considering. I really like the tan color on the interior but can't decide on which exterior colors it will match well with beyond white. I'm in no hurry so i'm gonna hold out until the 2.7L engine is available.
I always liked Pennzoil for years but I almost positive it does not meet Fords WSS-M2C961-A1 specification. Wouldn't want to give Ford an excuse for using oil that doesn't meet spec. However, haven't looked in quite a while, they may have updated to meet that spec now.
Most any major brand should be ok as long as it meets Fords WSS-M2C961-A1 specification. Personally, I'll be using Castrol Full Synthetic 5W-30 and changing ever 5K

no expert here, but seems the automotive flipping bubble pretty much burst-ed now. You may also want to research wants the most sensible vehicle for your family for now and numerous years ahead. Children, car seats, strollers, along with all the baggage is gonna change your life and the family...
To the OP, IMO hold out for the 2.7L V6, Lariat 4x4. Then little at a time update the exterior with factory or aftermarket items for a somewhat similar off road look. Sounds like you don't really need Raptor capability (just like most others) since the majority of time its on pavement...
It wouldn't take much arm twisting for me to purchase the GMC Canyon. I like it much better than the Chevy. But for now, I gonna hold out for the job 2 Ranger Lariat with the 2.7L V6. I like the interior better on the MY24 Ranger than the GM twins.
My understanding is a Retail order has to have all buyers personal information on the order, copy of drivers license, etc. But have no idea if a Stock order can be changed to a Retail or not. I guess maybe if the buyer is good with the specifications, but even those can be change as long as...
Doubt we'll see them here in the US for awhile except on high end vehicles. The mfg bean counters axe them plus all the "officials" haven't gotten enough pork money in their pockets yet IMO.
It's probably one of those jobs that got axed a while back when Ford decided to cut cost and thousands of folks were let go. The work doesn't necessarily go away, it just gets dumped on some soul still employed and there's no way to get all the work done - that would be my guess
Yep, Ford has a pretty good record in botching new product rollouts. Always seem to be a cluster F*%# and it takes them a good while to recover from the disasters.
Totally understand and agree - but so far this is child's play from a ordering/delay perspective. Read through the Bronco and Maverick forums to see how bad it can get. I ordered a MY22 EchoBoost Maverick, it took 10 months to get it. Constant issues with part constraints etc. That first year...
I wish you luck. I may have misunderstood but my understanding is each dealer will get 1 allocation for MY24 Ranger Raptor and would assume they will be marked up to the moon with ADM.
I hate Black wheels. Will use 2024 Ranger XLT for street driving and some light/minor offroading. I like chrome, machined silver, light gray, easy to clean. Can you help an ole guy with some suggestions please.
I like the style of the 17x7.5 ET 45 Borbet RE wheel below so anything similar...
