I installed these $33 LED lights under the bumper for backup aux lights on the AUX 3 switch. I wanted smaller sized lights with a lot of lumens. They are bright, but don't blow you away with immense lumens. I think they claim 1,800 Lumens. I'm not sure if that is each or total output. The low...
@mtesni that's a great idea I hadn't even thought of that approach. That area is plastic, right? So a pretty novel place to flush-mount those lights. How many lumens are those pushing out?
Are these the flush mount Baja Designs LED Light Poood Flush Mount Clear S1 Wide Cornering ones on...
@dguffin that is exactly what I have in mind. I found mounting spots at those two points under that hitch crossbar. I added halogen lamps on my FJ for extra light when backing up at night and it helped a lot.
Hey guys, I'm looking for auxiliary reverse lights with fairly low profile to install right below the rear bumper. I plan on connecting to the aux switched power back on the rear driver's side. ''
Can you guys give recommendations for a waterproof flood light with great lumens?
I saw these...

Agreed, this is a design flaw and Ford should have never let this go from the factory this way. It's just chicken-shit. BUT.... also a chicken-shit move by these dealers picking and choosing not to do the job because they don't make enough money. Maybe they are only getting 70 minutes / $192 to...
At some point, Ford needs to put these crappy dealerships on notice. THIS is a big reason why their numbers are down and I hope it gets worse for them.
Holy crap, I HOPE you are being sarcastic. Ford has something like 3 years supply of F150's right now almost everywhere. Trucks are imploding and that is a HUGE problem for automakers since the americans have all-but abandoned small and mid-sized cars. And electrics are NOT going to save them.
They are still the best mid-sized truck available IMHO, but not a lot of people can pull that $60k trigger, much less an additional ADM. I bought mine a month ago thinking they will become order-only, so there won't be a huge inventory burning up dealers' floorplan budget. Thus, when they are...
If I understand you correctly, you aren't necessarily asking if spray-in liner is better than a drop-in liner (it is, and can personally speak towards Line-X quality), rather, asking if it is worth the extra expense + waste of replacing plastic drop-in liner for a spray-in....
Personally, for...
@MidnightBlue yes! My question as well. This should be something that can be fixed with a software update IMHO. Come on @Ford Motor Company let's have a fix on this issue with car play issue.
Is the clear bra applied directly on the paint? May I ask ballpark that costs? I don't want a full hood protector, so that may be the best option for me as well.
