The F250 rides pretty nice. Put bilsteins on it. The 350 is pretty firm when empty, the factory shocks were terrible, bilsteins made a Huge difference.
I would add, I had a 2014 F150 Supercab short bed with the 5.0 /6 speed auto. I LOVED that truck. Comfy, handled like a dream, powerful, and as a DD got 17 mpg, on road trips 20 to 22! I miss that truck. I traded it because I needed a diesel. The F350 Lariat is awesome but not as nice to...
The twin turbo v6 makes excellent torque. The ranger should really have no problem with that load. If you were towing that every day I think you would be happier with the larger truck.
When not towing you'll get better mileage with the ranger but not much.
The other consideration is what else...
42 years in the RV industry. 50 years owning trailers and towing.
First, the manufacturers lie, the trailer will likely weigh more. Add water and the inevitable gear, (my 28ft 5th wheel has 1000+ lbs of extra stuff - food, dishes, clothes, gear, fully stocked bar etc) not counting water...
To celebrate our retirement we are taking a Great American Road Trip this summer.
Goals include visiting as many natl parks and monuments as possible, staying in some natl park grand lodges, visit as many caverns as we can, see some bucket list items, drive as much of what remains of route66 as...
For what it's worth I took a look at mine.
With an inspection mirror looking up from below there are clip tabs visible.
Gently prying up on the "rubber" liner, I can see the tabs going thru holes in the plastic beneath. It appears to simply snap in place/ pry off. I would use a plastic stick...
Now, regarding having to slam the seat back to get it latch.
Easy adjustment. Hopefully...
First, need to determine if it's just too tight, or is the striker not aligned with the latch properly.
Mine had to be slammed moderately hard.
I used a torx bit and tightened the 2 bumper screws, which...
I took a look at mine.
Here's how I would add a release pull to the driver's side.
Unzip the sides of the seat cover. Probably need to unfasten it along the bottom, then peel it up. (Didn't get a mirror and look at how the bottom is attached.)
I would probably bend a small piece of tubing...
I've had plastic bedliners in past trucks. Things slid around, over time they warped, debris got underneath, and when I removed one after 12-13 years it had chafed the paint and there was rust starting. I'll never do one again.
I've had spray in, it's so low maintenance and durable (if done...
Heehee. Point taken.
Wasn't trying to insult anyone's intelligence, more their judgment...
But, newbie's 1st post and it's essentially an advert for a sketchy product that's unlikely to fit the general forum audience in the first place - kind of set me off....
An additional note: Some reviewers said the tape didn't stick well. I chose this style with the back plate because it should tape on, don't want to use screws. I alcohol wiped but didn't use adhesion promoter
The passenger side stayed put but the driver's side wouldn't. (The console has a...
