2026 Ranger XLT
I havn't driven in a few days and noticed the following that I am trying to understand why?
On 3/4 and 3/5 I unlocked drivers door via remote, open door and interior lights come on along with dash and center display.
Lock vehicle
But on 3/8 I repeat the above and no interior nor...
Just heard back from Leer concerning the HF650M fix for 2026 Rangers.
They originally stated a week for the new clamps however now it's check back in a month.
They also said to keep the cover and refunded me the full cost of the tonneau cover and will send new clamps free when available.
First of all I've never installed a tonneau cover. my hf650m is still in the box waiting on fix for 2026 rangers.
But in your second pic to me it looks like your tonneau rail is above the cab rail cap. No?
I'm interested in having my rear head rest fold and stumbled upon this. Wonder if true?
Rear Seat Headrest Folding Mod for Ford Ranger (2020–2024)
For 2020 and later Ford Ranger SuperCab models, the rear seat headrests do not fold down by default—unlike the 2019 models. However, a popular DIY...
Okay Leer got back to me on their hf650m not fitting:
I apologize for the delay - I am working with our engineering team to get this resolved. They are putting together a new clamp kit that will take care of this issue but they aren't expecting it to be ready until Wednesday of this week. Once...
Just FYI...
I did send yet another email to Leer support concerning the issue of fitting their hf650m onto a 2026. So far no response, odd since I asked questions before and they got back to me within 24 hours.
Now I did ask them if the hf650m would for a 2026 and they responded yes.
I offered...
Can you help me understand how it's raised 1/2"?
Mine still in box as I may have to return. Anyway the rails have a what I'll call lip that rides on the bed cap. So if the cap was say 1" high or 3" hight wouldn't the tonneau cover still fit flush?
I rember in our old 88 ranger wife got a flat so I drove to change it. Could not get bolt off of spare. I had to drive home to get a breaker bar.
I'd say apply anti seize or take the tire down once in awhile to check pressure and free up moving parts
I think I may be okay with the Leer hf650m, should be delivered today. But bad weather here for next 5 days at least in the NE.
The clamps seem to just clamp rail to bed side, no existing holes required.
Ahh ha, so tonneau covers that clamp i.e. squeeze the rail to the bed side may still work.
But a potential issue may be with a bed extender. The vertical supports of the extender may hit the tonneau if now lower.
