This is interesting because I was told to drive it hard after the FP tune so that it learns more “aggressive “ settings.
Is there a way to do a throttle reset without reloading the tune? Disconnect battery for a bit, etc?
This has bothered me since day 1, not sure if it's normal behavior/tuning, but wanted to see if others' throttle input felt the same way.
Have about 2k miles on the truck, FP tuned since a couple weeks ago, and it seems like any aggressive throttle input from a standstill results in a split...
Hi all, selling a set (4) of Method NV305s in double black (17x8.5, +25), used only for about 1000 miles before I decided I really disliked the blacked out look on the truck. No blemishes or issues, includes the push through center caps, Method conical lugs and valve stems (no TPMS). Also...
RRW RR7-H in machined finish, 17x8.5, +25
Stock BFGs
Briefly had black Method NV305s (going on the marketplace!) but quickly got bored of the blacked out look, wanted to try something different. Had the same wheel but in bronze on my previous Bronco, always liked the design.
Nice write-up. I know some people think they are unnecessary, but I have always used hub rings with aftermarket wheels and have never had issues with vibrations, shimmying, etc.
I live in a region where there's snow and salt on the road, so I prefer the plastic ones to prevent...
Thanks, I just bought this to use as an air dryer after car washes. Much more compact/nimble compared to some of the more bulky car air dryers out there, or even a leaf blower.
Hi all,
I have a set of the beadlock capable wheels, excellent condition, taken off after only ~1000 miles. Includes TPMS and the stock lugs (if you want them). Asking for $500 picked up near Columbus, OH. Happy to meet up halfway if someone is coming from a state away. Thanks!
I think Method says the extended thread lugs are specifically designed for Toyota, since they have shorter studs.
Are you saying the RR needs them too?
Thanks again for sharing!
There should be no long term issues with the ring inside the cap versus the wheel bore? I know it's not really a "structural" piece, and once the wheel is tightened it's not even a weight bearing piece, correct?
WOW, timely thread. Just had my 305s installed this weekend, and the 108 to 93.1 rings I bought didn't fit. There's a tiny bit of vibration at highway speeds, glad to see there is a ring that fits.
To be clear, did you get the 106 or 106.1 ring?
