I have the same tires, and they behave just fine in the snow. Most I've had them in was 6" with ice underneath, and it was controlled and "fine". I don't know if they have the three peaks, but I suspect they do because they are the same ones it comes with in Canada.
I've posted this elsewhere because I'm incapable of properly using the search feature, but here's my first "proper" haul.
I broke two of them going over RR tracks with a little too much speed... I stopped and re-adjusted them to where they should have been the first time and the rest survived...
I drove an 03 FX4 for about 7 months before I got my truck, it was bouncy, rusty, ugly, and small. Glad It's gone, and glad I didn't get a super cab :)
That color looks good on both trucks though, I think it's the same color my dad just got, except here in Michigan we won't see that bright...
Watch the videos on how to install one, basically you can reuse the two hose barbs, and a few lengths of 3/8" fuel rated hose. If you can find a place to mount it, any quality catch can would work (in my opinion).
Something like the Mishimoto, or a Provent 200 would be fine. I'd find one that...
2500 or so, doesn't seem horrible for what seems like an extremely good system.
