Well, I used the small spacer they provided for the underneath the gutter trim and I also used there longer spacer that sits on top of the trim. I didn't do any cutting to make them fit right in. I just put the sealant ahead of time and placed the spacer exactly over the hole and they stayed in...

Just a little dent on the bottom. I'm surprise how good the powder coating is holding up.

Here is an update of the rock sliders. I was able to test them out on MOAB and they held up great. No issues. I was able to capture a video of them in action.
